In his resignation announcement video, outgoing manager Glenn Turnbull said that he would be moving upstairs within the club.

Today we are delighted to share with you that Glenn has joined the board as the clubs Director of Football. We believe with Glenn taking on this role, that the structure and organisation throughout the football club will take a step in the right direction and onto the next level. Within his role he will be taking on the responsibility for the whole club, from the Men’s and Women’s senior side as well as the Boy’s and Girl’s youth section.

Glenn expressed his thoughts on his new role by stating “I had made it clear that I wanted to remain involved in a capacity where I could contribute to the club while also gaining some much-needed personal time, particularly on matchdays. This role facilitates that balance. I will collaborate with the existing structures and serve as a liaison between the chairman, my fellow board members, and the managers of both senior teams and the development teams.

Advocating for a unified club was something I emphasized during my interview several years ago and during my tenure as manager. This position enables me to support that principle for the betterment of Moneyfields, without disrupting the strong foundations already established for the successful pathways to our first teams.

I look forward to working with everyone who makes Moneyfields the special place it is today.”

Glenn’s first job in the role will be to assist with the appointment of a new manager. Discussions have taken place this week regarding a new manager and an announcement is to be made after the interview process has taken place.
