Moneyfields Women’s trio, Skye-Louise Granger, Shannon Albuery and Charley Wilson-Wilton have been named in Since 71 and All For WoFo‘s FA Women’s National League (FA WNL) Division One South West Team of the Season.
Since 71 have long been champions of women’s football, paying particular attention to the FA WNL, a level of football that doesn’t receive the exposure and credit which it deserves.
The teams are compiled with one rule when selecting the squads: each starting XI can only include a maximum of two players from any single club, though a third player may be included among the substitutes.
Skye-Louise Granger told us, “I’d suggest that there are lots of other worthy candidates within this Moneyfields team, but for me, it’s nice to be recognised. I am pleased with how the season went, but I am also looking forward to pre-season and how we can continue to improve as a team.”
You can catch Skye and her teammates when our pre-season programme begins with a game against Exeter City at the John Jenkins Stadium on Sunday, July 20th (KO 2pm).
