Another special season in the history of both the Moneys’ Men’s and Women’s side was celebrated in the glorious South Coast heatwave on Sunday, as the Club held their annual end of season awards event.
The event celebrated both the praised and perhaps unsung heroes from the Men’s side, who were unlucky to miss out on the Isthmian League South Central Division play-offs, and the Women’s side, who were unlucky to miss out on the FA Women’s National League South title (despite beating eventual champions AFC Bournemouth during a mightily impressive league campaign.) Incidentally, it was actually the highest finish for the Women’s side in their history!
Continuing the one club ethos, there were also awards for the Men’s and Women’s Reserve sides, with the U18 Boys also seeing their standout stars honoured.
