Moneyfields Women are delighted to confirm the signing of highly-rated young forward, Scarlett Kirby from AFC Bournemouth’s youth set-up.

Kirby joins Moneys as an exciting prospect with significant potential, and will immediately link up with Winchester City Flyers on loan to gain valuable senior first-team experience.

Flyers, who compete in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division, will provide Kirby with a strong platform for development against quality opposition.

Supporters will also spot some familiar faces in their squad next season, with former Moneys favourites Lauren Sayler, Sarna Capel-Watson, and Kayleigh Tonks all set to wear the red and black.

Moneyfields manager Karl Watson expressed his excitement about the signing:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Scarlett into the Moneyfields family. She’s technically gifted, composed on the ball, and with a real maturity to her game. Coming through Bournemouth’s youth pathway, she’s already shown her quality, and we firmly believe she has a very bright future in the women’s game.”

Watson added, “The loan move to Winchester City Flyers is a fantastic opportunity for her to step into senior football. That environment will challenge her physically and mentally, and the experience will be invaluable.

We’re confident Scarlett will flourish during her time there and return ready to compete for a place in our first-team squad.”

Flyers’ manager Emma Pearmine added, “Scarlett is an excellent young talent, with strength, skill and great finishing ability. I think we can really help develop her talent throughout the course of the season. We are thrilled to have our own board.”

Kirby’s arrival underlines Moneyfields’ commitment to developing young talent and providing a clear pathway into senior women’s football.
