18-year-old central midfielder made his senior debut for Millbrook during the 2022/23 season at the tender age of 16 in Wessex Division One and had gone onto flourish for the Southampton based side.

O’Connell scored 16 goals in his 49 appearances during the following campaign and then having another impressive season at Millbrook playing 56 times scoring on 12 occasions.

The youngster is an extremely impressive and experienced player for his age, having already made 106 senior appearances and scoring 28 goals from the centre of the park.
