Moneyfields FC Women are proud to confirm that Ali Hall has been appointed club captain ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Hall, who joined the Moneys this summer from AFC Bournemouth, has already made a strong impression on her teammates and the coaching staff with her leadership qualities, work ethic, and wealth of experience at the highest levels of the women’s game.

Hall, who has previously played for Portsmouth, Stoke City, Coventry United, and Aston Villa, is relishing the challenge of captaining the Moneys in what promises to be a competitive and ambitious season.

“It’s a real honour to be named captain,” Hall said. “It’s great that Karl sees me as a leader of this team. Since attending the very first sessions in June, the environment created by the players and staff allowed me to settle quickly and feel like myself. Karl and I have a good relationship and have the same goals for the team this season.”

Adding, “I’ve been around a long time now in football, so I will bring a lot of experience. This brings level-headedness and composure. I’m definitely a talker, sometimes it’s hard to shut me up, but at the same time, I can offer a listening ear and provide support when needed.

“I want to continue to create an environment where players feel comfortable to be themselves and enjoy their football. Even from being at the club a short time, I could see quickly that the group of players have a willingness to grow, desire to win and to support each other through thick and thin. We also have several leaders and amazing characters throughout the group, which is so important in a league that becomes more competitive each year. These players allow us to solve problems during matches and motivate one another when times get tough.

“We have a driven group of staff who dedicate so much time to enable us to be the best we can be. I can’t speak highly enough of all the players and look forward to seeing what we can do this season as a collective.”

Hall takes the armband at the start of a new era for Moneyfields, with a squad strengthened by several exciting summer signings and a collective focus on pushing to finish as high as possible in the division.
