A product of the Portsmouth youth system, Rudi has also featured for Baffins Milton Rovers, before enjoying a standout season at Horndean in the Isthmian League – South Central Division.

He made a club-high 40 appearances for them last term, finding the net six times. Despite naturally being a forward, he was called upon to fill in at centre back for spells throughout the campaign, underlining both his versatility and work rate.

Blankson was on the scoresheet against the Moneys last season, giving Horndean the lead with a superb Boxing Day finish at the John Jenkins Stadium. It was a strike any forward would be proud of, though the Deans eventually fell to a 4-1 defeat on their visit to PO3.

Rudi now makes the move down the A3(M) to Moneyfields, and we’re looking forward to seeing him in action in Yellow & Navy this season.
