Moneyfields FC Women are thrilled to announce the signing of Ali Hall from AFC Bournemouth.
Hall brings with her a wealth of experience, having featured for Portsmouth, Stoke City, Coventry United, and Aston Villa. Most recently, she was part of a highly successful AFC Bournemouth side, and now makes the move to Moneyfields as the club continues to build toward another ambitious campaign.
Having relocated to the south coast a few years ago, Hall is enjoying life by the sea and is relishing this new chapter in her football journey, “The south definitely feels like home now. I’ve been loving it down here – it’s a great place to live and play football.”
A versatile midfielder, she is comfortable across the middle and in forward areas but enjoys playing in the number eight position. She explains, “It gives me the chance to get forward and contribute defensively, which I’ve developed a lot in recent seasons.”
Having battled against Moneyfields during her time at Bournemouth, Hall knows just how competitive and driven the team is. She explains, “Our games against Moneyfields last season were always the toughest. They were well-organised, quick on the counter, and incredibly dangerous. Whoever turned up best on the day usually took the points, so I know how high the standards are here.”
Her decision to join Moneyfields was strongly influenced by the club’s ambition and the clear direction from the coaching staff, “Karl’s ambition really stood out to me. His expectations and high standards align perfectly with my own goals for the season. You can already feel the intensity and quality in training – it’s a great environment.”
Ali comes to the club with a league winners’ medal from her time at the Cherries. Looking ahead, Ali is confident about what the team can achieve, “This is a very talented group, and I truly believe we can win things this year. I’m really excited to be part of it.”
And to the fans, she had one final message, “I can’t wait to see as many of you as possible at our games. Make sure you grab your tickets and come support us – we’ll give you everything on the pitch!”
