Moneyfields Football Club is a football club based in Portsmouth, England. Affiliated to the Hampshire FA, they were founded in 1987 as Portsmouth Civil Service, before adopting their current name in 1994.
In recent years the club have played at both Step 4 and Step 5, with the clubs first promotion to Step 4 coming in the 2016-17 season, when Moneys finished 2nd in the Wessex Premier Division under the guidance of Dave Carter. After several successful seasons in the Southern League, including reaching the play-off final in the 2017-18 season, the club applied for voluntary relegation when Covid-19 hit during the 2020-21 season and return to the Wessex Premier Division. Dave Carter resigned as manager and Louis Bell Snr and Louis Savage took charge of our remaining PDFA Cup fixtures, which saw Moneys win the PDFA Cup at Fratton Park on penalties against Baffins Milton Rovers.
Upon our return to the Wessex League, Glenn Turnbull became the first team manager and steered us to a 9th and a 5th placed finish in his first two seasons, before an unbelievable 2022-23 season, where Moneys won the Wessex Premier Division, only losing two games all season. The following season the club finished two points outside of the play-offs in the Isthmian League South Central Division, as well as Glenn Turnbull winning three manager of the month awards. At the end of the 2024-25 season, Glenn Turnbull resigned and became the clubs Director of Football.
Callum Glen was appointed Turnbull’s successor, joining Moneyfields from SCFL Premier Division side Petersfield Town.
